Cooking Thursday

Today's recipe is a good one for those hot summer days!  It's a frozen chocolate pie that is very easy to make and tastes refreshing.

Frozen German Sweet Chocolate Pie

4 ounce package Bakers German Sweet Chocolate, melted
1/2 cup milk
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups thawed Cool Whip
1 ready made graham cracker crust
Beat together cream cheese and sugar, then add milk.  Add melted chocolate and stir in thawed cool Whip until smooth.  Spoon into graham cracker crust.
Freeze for at least 4 hours.  Before serving let stand at room temperature for about 10 minute.  Freeze leftovers.

Anything frozen is a great dessert for this kind of weather. I would love a piece of that pie for the afternoon when the temps get up in the 80's today.

Perfect for summertime Mari. I am going to have to add a Mari section to my recipe file.
