Oh I find it all so impersonal and it ranks up there with self serve at the grocery store but they stand there watching you. U G H ! I guess when I first started working years ago I had a boss who was a 70ish woman and she demanded we treat the tax payers with the utmost respect and she always cared so much about her employees. She was a real sweet lady and had a son with a disability. She refused to put him away and had a caregiver in her home while she worked. SHe was a tremendously kind heart. Plus she also made sure everyone took their vacation time. Today it seems everything is against being a good employee. I don't know, it is all so creepy to me. :-(

Isn't that the truth!! LOL My doctor/group just switched from Patient Portal to My Chart. I love My Chart and am so happy they switched over and now my other doctors can be linked - they are all on My Chart now. BUT... all the crazy time and trouble to get it switched over.

THIS is why I don't go to the doctor, haaaha! I figure by the time I go through all that, I'm losing anyway. Can't scare me with heaven!!!! xoxo

So true! Never seen anything like it! And now, instead of my doctor talking to me, or listening to my problem, he is busy typing the notes that will go on My Chart for me to look up when I get home.

Oh, my, yes! So true. Technology was supposed to give us more time, but all it's done is make things more complicated, and frustrating. Have a good week, Mari. xx

I can relate to this. It is so frustrating these days. Almost everywhere, medical offices and other kind of offices all assume you have a cell phone when you give a number out. Then when they can't send sms they wonder why. Then they want you to download an app, open an account, answers questions. It is all too much nuisance.

Ain't it the ever-lovin' truth! I become especially peeved since I worked in development for so many years... same concept. C'mon, folks, better navigation is simple! Help your patients to get help ... before the die!

Funny, but sadly true.
