Look at those corn stalks! They have their own kind of beauty, don't they. And money. They represent $$ to my brother-in-law, who sells corn seed in the upper midwest. Very successful at it, too. He turned to that career when milking the cows with a masters degree in agronomy wore thin.

All the corn has been harvested in our area (SE Georgia). Most of our locals grow Cracked Corn for the livestock. I love watching the fields grow all summer and their little yellow tassels at maturity. It is pretty.

So pretty! Wish I had an armload of those cornstalks.

As usual, just caught up woth your last two posts. Your fall pictures from the country road are beautiful. The girls did such a good on the pumpkins.

A friend of mine used to live in a different house and at that house she had a lamp post down in the front yard just down from the porch. She used to put corn stalks all around it and when it would shine at night it looked just like a harvest moon among the corn. 😊 🍂
