Works for me!

I've purchased a few things lately that I really like and thought I would share them with you!

I love tulips and often buy fresh ones this time of year.  However, they don't last long, and need to be trimmed every day. I saw these ones linked in a design blog as being very lifelike so decided to give them a try. I popped them in a vase and they look real unless you look close.  They are available in lots of colors.  Here's the link if you are interested.

My friend Terri, from Your Friend from Florida, recently posted about a blue diamond pan she got and loved. My stove top griddle was in bad shape so I decided to take her advice and order one.
It works great!  The non stick surface is truly non stick, and it makes for an easy clean up!
Here's the link for this pan.

Here's an example of what we used it for.  Grilled cheese made on cinnamon raisin bread.  Very good and nothing stuck to the pan.  Thanks Terri!

Here's something else I got on the recommendation of a blogging friend.  Arlene from Nanaland posted about these candles she ordered from Miller Farm Candles.  I'm a candle lover and loved the look of these.  I ordered 3, they came so quickly and I got a small one for free, along with a sweet handwritten note!

Isn't this a cozy, sweet candle?  And it smells wonderful!  Here is the link if you want to check it out.

Here's another thing I saw posted on a decorator blog.

Here's our garage door.  It looks nice, but the blog I saw mentioned something you could do to make it look nicer for a very reasonable cost!  Magnetic pieces that looked like hinges and handles for $11.95!  I wasn't sure if they would work, but for that price, I was willing to give it a try.

They work!  They look nice and have been up for several weeks with no issue.
Here's the link for them if you want to try it yourself.

I didn't get anything for mentioning these.  They are just things that I really do like, so am sharing them, because you might like them too!

I LOVE shopping! If I am not shopping, the next best thing is seeing what others have bought, so I love this post! I thought the tulips were real, and am mighty tempted to buy them! I would get the same color. And these handles and hinges really dress up your garage door, they are just what it needed! You find the neatest things, I hope you post your shopping again.

Oh! I've seen those tulips and have had them in my "save for later" cart for months, but I wasn't sure if they'd really look as good in real life as they do in the photos. Off to buy them...hmmm...red...white...or both? Thanks!!

Oh Mari...thanks for shopping Alabama!! Nikki is so sweet. I am going to get my hair done on Wednesday and she has a pop up shop in my hair salon. I know I will be bringing something home.:) I really want to try some of the coffee scents. And that Garage Door Accessory Pack....it is a game changer. I love the cottage look it gives. I would order one for our garage but our HOA says all of ours have to look the same. That is no fun.

They are all great! I could use on of those stove top griddles but I wonder if it would work on a glass top stove. I'll have to go check it out, Thanks. :)

I'm spending vicariously through you and my husband thanks you, although I did order two bouquets of the tulips.
What shall we buy next?

Happy Easter!

Thank you for sharing. Those tulips look ah-mazing! I love realistic faux flowers. And I especially think that garage door idea turned out beautifully! I hope you have a very blessed week ahead. 🙏 💗

I love tulips and I agree that fresh cut tulips don't last very long. Mine only last about a week in the house but I don't trim them on a daily basis and maybe that's why they don't last very long. I've purchased 3 bunches of tulips during the past 3 weeks. I have just ordered one bunch of the rose red tulips using your link. I may order some white ones in the future if I decide to mix the colors because I do love white tulips. I have many planted tulips in my front gardens and I'm just waiting for them to bloom. I think the tulips in my gardens look so nice that I don't like cutting them. I'd rather keep them blooming in the gardens:)

The tulips are really life-like and beautiful! I am so glad you like the Blue-Diamond griddle. I think it might have been Arlene who first posted about Blue Diamond. I will check out the candles. I'm not a big candle burner but those look really nice. Sometimes the fragrance is just too intense for my sinuses. Thanks for the good tips! I enjoyed reading your reviews! xo

Your tulips are very convincing! I need a new griddle pan so I will definitely check that out, if for no other reason than I now I am craving a grilled cheese on cinnamon raisin bread, and I'm all about minimal cleanup! Totally charming candles, and the handwritten note is so classy. The garage "hardware" really pops on your garage door! So clever! xoxo
