Fathers Day

We had a nice Father's Day weekend.  I hope you all did too.
Our girls and their families came over Saturday evening for supper. We all had fun watching the kids play together. Cassie enjoys spending time with them, and Alaina and Ruby are so patient in entertaining her.

Cassie loved being pushed on this toy.

Alaina saw the camera come out and made a face.   :)

Cassie helped Grandpa open gifts.

A t-shirt Bob got from Heather and Andrew. You know he liked it!

The girls on the porch before they went home.

On Sunday, my sisters, brother and I went to my Dad's house after church. We each brought something along for lunch.

A few of the grandkids were there too.  Here's a bunch of the family sitting in the family room before lunch.

My Dad has always been a prankster, and shortly after Terri and Dave got married, we were together at an event where they were serving ham buns. Dad slipped a napkin into Dave's bun and has teased him about that numerous times.  This time, we put a napkin on Dad's bun as a payback.

He laughed so hard when he realized it!

We had a nice visit, lots of good memories and laughs.
He was tired when we left but it sure was a blessing to spend this time together.

LOVE Bob's t-shirt! :) Your grandgirls are growing up so fast, Mari. They are beautiful girls.

Glad that you, your sisters and brother were able to spend that time with your dad on Sunday. I'm sure it meant as much to him as it did to the rest of you. And what a fun time to remind him of the trick he played on Dave. Loved seeing him laughing!

Hugs to you, my friend.

Looks like you had a wonderful weekend with lots of family. Lovely pictures. Got a kick out of the napkin on your Dad's sandwich, lol. Popped in from a mutual blog friends blog to say hi. It's always fun meeting new bloggers. Do swing by for a visit.

What a sweet day with your Dad. You are so fortunate to have him. I never knew my Dad as he died just before I was born. The hole in my heart is still there.

Your family is such a treasure! What a lovely Father's Day. That t-shirt is epic! Lol And gave me a giggle to see how the prank made your Dad laugh. Family truly is what this life is all about, aren't they?

Haahaaa I love your dad's sense of humor! And now I want a ham bun, STAT! Mercy those look good. OK WHEN did little Miss Cassie turn around and age, like, a whole year in a matter of weeks? She looks like a different kid! Precious! Love Bob's tee shirt. The kids got TG a funny one too that I can't wait to show you. xoxo

Loved Bob's tee shirt! Your girls are growing so fast, it's nice for Cassie that she has such attentive older cousins. So glad you had a nice day with your dad and family. He sure did seem to enjoy the napkin in his sandwich! Enjoy the resto of your week.
