Wordless Wednesday


 (Maple tree seeds getting ready to drop off and spin to the ground.  Soon our back yard will be full of them and the squirrels will be happy.)

Thanks for telling us what this is. All I could guess was dying plant life. But quite to the contrary, it's not dying but preparing to bring about new life!

I LOVED our big maple tree in the backyard of my childhood home. Quite familiar with those whirligigs!!
