We had a busy, but fun weekend!
We started on Friday night by having Alaina and Ruby over.
The girls talked Bob into hooking up our old Wii game system. We don't use it often, so it takes a bit to remember how to hook it up. Here Alaina and Bob were having fun racing on Mario Cart.
On Saturday morning, we had lots to do, but took time to make a craft. This was one that looked so easy to do, and the pictures of the finished product looked so nice!
All you needed were 2 different sized styrofoam tree forms, and some wire. You wrap the wire around the form and then pull it out. You are left with a wire Christmas tree - or so they said!
This is how ours looked! I think maybe I needed thicker wire. Oh well, can't always work out, right? And it gave us some laughs.
Saturday afternoon, we had Cassie's 1st Birthday party!

Heather and Andrew had fun things set around for activities. One was this selfie area, where Bob and Alaina were having fun!
Soon it was time to open presents. Here's Heather helping Cassie.
Then it was time for some cake.
You can see she enjoyed this!
After this, it was into the sink with her for a cleanup and soon after we headed home.Happy Birthday sweet Cassie!

Happy birthday to Cassie! Boy that year sure went quickly. The party looks like a lot of fun. We have a Wii too, but rarely use it any more. Hope you have a great week-before-Christmas!
