God has put so much beauty around us! I love driving the back roads and seeing His artistry in nature. Saturday was such a pretty day here, and after I dropped the girls off at home, I took a leisurely drive home. Here's a few things I saw.
I grew up on a farm, and still enjoy seeing hay bales and rows of hay.
Our farmers had a very late start here, because it was so wet they couldn't plant. It's good to see the corn growing!
A field of wildflowers.
Cat tails!
Queen Ann's lace
Another field of hay, waiting to be baled.
The tiger lilies are prolific this year, and look so pretty lining the roads.
The Grand River. Blue sky and water is a perfect summer mix.
Green trees and a dirt road are a great combination.
These are all things that make me smile and thank God for all He surrounds me with.

Just beautiful!!
Beautiful. You live in such a lovely area. smiles
Those last two pictures could easily be framed:)
Beautiful photos, Mari. Thanks for sharing . . . they take me back to my childhood days in Indiana and Michigan. You can take the girl out of the Midwest, but you can't take the Midwest out of the girl :)
Thank you for your prayers, they are a treasure to our hearts and a true blessing . . . our dear Lord is listening to each and every one, again thank you :)
Every picture is so pretty. God just doesnt make 'junk' does He?
Hi, Oh your photos make me happy. Love those bright lilies and wildflowers. The tree lined road is beautiful. I rarely see cat tails. So pretty. Wishing you a blessed afternoon.
Your photos made me smile, too, Mari. I'm a country girl at heart and miss seeing the corn in the fields and the hay bales in the fields. Does my heart good to see this!
The countryside is so beautiful. I love to drive past a field of freshly baled hay. Your pictures, enlarged, are breathtaking.
You live in a beautiful part of the world!
Beautiful scenes!
Oh, such beauty! The fields make me homesick. God is good.
Xoxo
So beautiful! And so like here - i have lots of lilies. And I pick bouquets for my window sill with queen anne's lace and buttercups and daisies. The best of summer day. xo
I can smell the warm hay baking in the sun, and I can hear the corn swishing in the summer breeze, and I can see bees hovering over the Queen Anne's Lace. And I'm not any stripe of a country girl. Gorgeous pictures of our beautiful natural world. xoxo
