We in the United States are celebrating the birthday of our country today. I found this clip of comedian Red Skelton discussing our pledge of allegiance and although this is from quite a few years ago, what he says still holds true. I thought this was a fitting time to review what our pledge really means. Happy Fourth!

hope you had a great holiday!
Precious! Thanks for posting that, Mari. Happy Fourth of July to you and yours! Thank your Andy for me, for his service. God bless and keep him and his fellow soldiers.
I posted this one year and love it!
He was the best!
Happy 4th sweet friend.
Hugs,
Kat
Oh Mari....right now I'm seeing nothing but "bandwidth exceeded" on the photobucket background....can't read a thing! So, so disappointed. Okay...needless to say, I hope you had a wonderful holiday with all the fun you were able to muster up.
I had to come back....
Those are some powerful words while he 'defined' each and every word like that. Red Skelton was one of my favorites.
I love Red Skelton!
I hope you had a great 4th. I'm a little late getting by to tell you! Hope Andy is doing well, too.
