A visit to the Greenhouse

We made our first trip of the year to the Greenhouse near us last week.  People come from all over the state to go to this greenhouse.  It's huge, the greenhouse itself is 21 acres.

Here's an arial shot to give you an idea of the size.

Look at all the ferns when you come in.

Look at all the plants!

I got this planter for our porch.

We also bought some Lenten roses to plant in our woodland garden.

We'll be back to get more once the chances of frost are gone.  It's always a fun visit!

Oh my goodness!!!! Now THAT is a greenhouse!! Isn't it wonderful to see all the flowers! Your planter is gorgeous!
Our greenhouses are a fraction of that size, located next to barns on Amish and Mennonite Farms in our rural area.

Beautiful. That greenhouse looks absolutely amazing! 21 acres of plants sounds like a gardener’s dream. It must be so peaceful and exciting to walk through all that greenery. The ferns are a beautiful sight, and the plants really seem to add such life to the space.

Your new porch planter is lovely! What a perfect touch for the warmer months ahead. And the Lenten roses are going to look stunning in your woodland garden — they seem like they would thrive in that environment with their delicate blooms.

It sounds like you have a great tradition of visiting the greenhouse. I’m sure it’s a fun way to mark the start of spring each year. Do you have any specific plants you’re hoping to add to your garden as the season progresses?

The planter for your porch is so nice. I think I'll get one for my front yard. The Lenten roses that you selected for your woodland garden are just perfect for a woodland garden. I had never heard of Lenten roses.

That is extraordinary. HOW do they take care of all of those plants? Don't answer that ... I imagine they water them from sprinklers up above, hahaha! But still! Do they hope to sell them all? Your planter pot is gorgeous. I'd love to see it in person. xoxo

I've never seen such a huge greenhouse! That is amazing! How do they keep all those plants properly watered I wonder? That would be quite a job for someone! It would be fun to walk through there. Was it overly warm? Most greenhouses I've ever been too were way too warm to stay in for very long! But it would be fun to try. I love the plants you bought!
