Those are beautiful in their own special way. I hate it that my Rose of Sharon bush died last year and I had to pull it out of the ground. It had been part of our Memorial Garden, planted when our son died. I don't know why it died, I guess it ran out of seeds!

Ohhh, I love the close-up and then the creamy background.

Oh, my goodness! This is a picture I could look at for hours. Great shot, my friend!
Withering beauty
They're very sculptural, aren't they? It's so neat to think what sprouts out of pods like that - a true metamorphosis. 💚
That's a great close-up :)
Happy midweek wishes.
All the best Jan
I really like this...Beauty in the decay.

Lovely shape, we have some in our garden, but not your beautiful dried flower, I dead headed them all.
Beauty out of decay.

Beautiful shot !
Oh how I love dried pods. They are so very interesting to me. Janice
I have a Rose Of Sharon hedge, but I've never noticed the pods. Now I need to go outside and peek!
That's a really attractive dish. Looks like something from a fancy restaurant! Bet it tastes as good as it looks.
They look sad now but they're going to be mighty pretty real soon! TG loves Rose of Sharon. They lined his parents' driveway for many years. xoxo
