Those are beautiful in their own special way. I hate it that my Rose of Sharon bush died last year and I had to pull it out of the ground. It had been part of our Memorial Garden, planted when our son died. I don't know why it died, I guess it ran out of seeds!

I have a Rose Of Sharon hedge, but I've never noticed the pods. Now I need to go outside and peek!
