Making Suncatchers

We had a fun weekend - hope you did too!
We had a couples baby shower on Saturday evening, for someone Bob works with.  This was the first baby shower Bob ever went to, and he wasn't too sure about the games (we had to play the dirty diaper game...), but we had fun!
I went on a cemetery tour in the afternoon and will share that with you later.
We had the girls overnight Friday and had our usual fun time - lots of talking from both of them, fun times playing and a craft project which they always enjoy.

I found some Autumn suncatcher kits.

Here's Ruby filling in her pumpkin.

And Alaina working on hers. She was using a tweezers and was very careful about getting everything just right!

Ready to go into the oven. 20 minutes later, they were done!

Here they are, hanging on our window, but just to see if they worked.  The girls were excited to take them home.

Here's Alaina with her colorful leaf,

and Ruby with her pumpkin.

It doesn't take anything big to make them happy!

A cemetery trip?

Do tell, dearie.

I must do suncatchers with Dagny. She'll flip over that.

Oh that looks like so much fun! We use to do things like that when Liam was that age, sadly, not anymore. smiles

What a great craft and perfect for both the girls. That Ruby....her smile is contagious. Alayna is such a beauty. I am sure the boys are going to be after her in droves.

Did that with my granddaughter many years ago and it was fun and they turned out really nice. My granddaughter turned 21 Sat. so those days are long gone:(

The suncatchers are hanging proudly in our front window. So maybe the sun came out today just for them! :)
