This is a short video that will really make you think. I believe it's a part of a longer message this man gave, but you will get the idea from the clip. I have to admit to pleading guilty when I heard this.
Oh Wow! What a great illustration and so very true!!! I know there have been times in my life when I've just wanted to hold on tight to that balance beam myself. I'd love to hear his whole message! Thanks for sharing this Mari.
Yep. That's me. Miss Safety. I also looked just like this when I did balance beam for my high school's gymnastics team. Needless to say, we did not win.
He says he isn't going to go where the majority goes....me either. When I grew up, I was told that God gives us what we can handle...obviously he's handled his traumatic life well, and living a full life without keeping himself in a bubble and expecting his God to give him a "10" when as his judge.
Whoa!!! Talk about an illustration that slams you between the eyes!! That was EXCELLENT!! That was awesome, thank you so much for sharing it. I love your blogs! You and I need to correspond about how you did these....I think I gave you my email before, but if not, it is donnab6464@gmail.com. This was a great way to start my day! Thanks!
That would be this Ozark farm chick, holdin' on for dear life. We could all use that trust God and let go lesson. This is a theory I could use in Kids Church.
Ya'll have a wonderfully blessed day from the Missouri hills and hollers!!!
What a great message. And a great visual in giving it. It truly makes one stop and think ab where we truly are in life. Thanks for dropping by Bloggeritaville today! HUGS! Leigh Bratina www.lbratina.blogspot.com
Every time I hear Francis Chan, his talks are always outstanding. I didn't know about his childhood, but evidently God had a plan. WOW! What a message!

I giggled when he did his dismount. That was a really good object lesson. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm must plead guilty too. Very sobering, and my heart is convicted. Thank you so much for posting this.
