We've had some crazy weather here, and I know several of you have had too.
Last week, we had a day with temps in the low 60's - just gorgeous.
The next day we had this snow! When I got up the next day, everything was covered in white, but thankfully the sun came out and melted it.
I wandered around the yard, checking to see what might be coming up. These are flowers on our oak leaf hydrangea, still hanging on after the winter. Isn't this little flower pretty?
Hydrangea's must be tough, because this is our hydrangea tree, which also has some flowers hanging on.
In the front, we have several clusters of crocus blooming.
There are some wild violets growing in the lawn.
This is a lilac bud. Isn't it amazing to think of all the beauty that is packed into that one little bud?
I don't know what these are, but we have a patch planted in the back yard. They are always one of the first things to bloom in the Spring.
A sure sign on Spring - the robin is back and in this nest out by Bob's shop.
Look at these sweet little buds on our Viburnum.
Spring is my favorite season!

Spring is indeed wonderful. There are a few little signs around here that I should take pictures of. Our weather has been up and down too spitting snow one minute then showing warming sunshine the next.
The good thing about spring snow is that it doesn't last long! We have a few buds peeking out but our weather is so eratic it will be a while before anything really blooms.
It seems to have been a long winter this year in many places. It makes spring all that much more exciting and welcome.
Our weather has been crazy too. A few sunny days after 2 weeks of rain. Then a weekend that has been cloudy and cool. It will be in the 90's by the end of the week!
Love this post!
Such a happy post full of spring greenery and hope for warmer temperatures, and lots of flowers!!
Thank you!
Smiles :)

Oh, these beautiful flowers brightened my day! ♥ My mom and I did a quick trip to the nursery this morning to pick up a few punnets of seedlings and some compost. We were delighted to even find a few trays of viola seedlings - I came home and planted them out straight away! {{smiles}} The past few days have been so hot again...don't know what happened to our lovely Autumn weather!
Have a blessed week, Mari! ♥
Oh wow!!! I am so hoping we are not far behind, grin. Have a beautiful day friend.
This is a happy post. Everything about spring says happy:) Stay well.
Spring is bursting out all over!! I miss lilacs. Your yard is gorgeous any time of year, Mari!
We've had the same crazy weather - but I think you're probably a little ahead of the blooming than we are. Barely any buds on the trees yet and only a few sproutings of flowers. But every little bit brings hope! Thanks for sharing and have a blessed week ahead. xoxo
Pretty spring photos. Our weather has been really crazy here too much like yours. I don't have any flowers blooming but I do see some plants cropping up.
Again I'm catching up but looking back, we just had the coldest April that any of us can remember. Of course it followed a warm winter, and everything bloomed a few weeks earlier than usual. Things are heating up in South Carolina now! I expect to hear the first cicadas this coming week, in time for Mother's Day. xoxo
