I have a wonderful dessert to share with you today. It's perfect for the summer when fresh fruit is available. It's easy to make, light and refreshing and on top of that - it's fairly low in calories!
Triple Berry Trifle
1 - 11 ounce angel food cake loaf, cut into small cubes
2 small boxes instant vanilla sugar free pudding mix
3 cups milk
8 ounces Cool Whip thawed
strawberries, raspberries, blueberries
Place cubed angel food cake in trifle bowl, 9x13 pan or individual trifle bowls.
Mix pudding mix and milk together, stir in Cool Whip.
Pour pudding mix over angel food cake.
Place assorted berries over pudding mix. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
* This can also be made with fresh peaches instead of berries.
* 10 servings - if made using sugar free pudding and skim milk, each serving has 205 calories.

Sounds delicious!
I make this with strawberries and it is yummy!
Yummy! Healthy dessert!
It looks delicious! I think I would like to try it with lemon pudding and fresh blueberries. Any thoughts on if that combination would work with angel food cake?
A lovely summer dessert!
Diane - I think that the lemon and blueberry combination would be wonderful!
Yum,yum,yum...I made this for July 4th, and layered it...have a beautiful day, Mari.
Anything this easy is tops on my list and it looks and sounds so good.
Now they look good! I love trifle of any kind, especially sherry! Ha.
I bought a trifle bowl years ago and have yet to use it for a trifle. This would be wonderful!! Thanks!
Looks refreshing!
This recipe looks good for a hot day like today. I must fix it sometime.
Trifles are definitely one of my favorite desserts to make. They are always so tasty and yours look amazing. Hugs!
Yummy! I'd leave off the raspberries. Maybe even the blueberries but it wouldn't be nearly as pretty!
I notice when food is sugar free. I wonder if I'd notice in this recipe? Or, would it be too sweet (is there such a thing!) if I used regular pudding. I think I'd stick with the skim milk, though.
Sounds like I'm going to try this one. :)
I'm stealing every last calorie of this. xoxo
