Happy New Year!

I'm back from my blog break and anxious to catch up with you all!
I have a few things to share with you from December.

First - Cassie turned 2!  It's hard to believe 2 years have gone by since she arrived early and spent 10 days in the NICU.  You would never know it now. She is such a blessing to all of us.

Cassie loves her cousins and they love her too.  It's so fun to see them together.

She was a tired girl when we left.

But - there was more celebrating to come the next day!

We had my family Christmas party the next afternoon.  We were under a winter storm warning with snow coming down hard, and lots of wind so we were happy that almost the whole family could make it.  Only one niece who lives in New York wasn't able to be here.

The big surprise was that Andy and Nikki came for the weekend.  My Dad didn't know and was so happy to see them.

Dad is always happy to see the great grandkids.

I had to share this, because I was trying to get a picture of Aaron and Laura, and a little photo bomber snuck in.

Here's Dad and Ann with all the grandkids and great grandkids, except for Halle.

I'm so blessed with a wonderful family and we always have a great time together.  Our kids all came to our house afterward, so we could give Andy and Nikki their Christmas gifts, since they were planning to drive back to Kentucky the next morning.  However, the weather was too bad, and they ended up waiting until late afternoon to leave.
It was great having all the kids here together, even for a short time.

What great pictures of a wonderful time together! You all are a hardy bunch. Snow coming down hard and lots of wind doesn't keep anyone away from a family gathering!

Cassie is a little dolly!

I just love that your beautiful family was able to be together for the holidays! So very special and memorable! I'm sure Halle wishes she could have been there too. Maybe next year! Thanks for catching us up, Mari. I've missed you! Cassie is adorable, but adorable runs in the family!! xo

Wow your dad looks so good, Mari! I think of him and Ann often, and pray for them to continue enjoying life and being able to get out to family get-togethers! How great that Andy and Nikki made the effort to be there. Looks like a good time as a family and those are the BEST times to be had, anywhere, any time! xoxo
