It's time for another Works for me Wednesday post! My tip for today is really an easy one, but since it took me so long to try this, I thought some of you might need to hear it too.
Have you ever used parchment paper? I never did until about 5 years ago, but now I am hooked! It prevents things from sticking and has saved me from cleaning some messy pans. I use it frequently when baking rolls or biscuits. I've also used it when cooking fish or chicken - just lay it on the pan, put your food on it and cook as usual. You can also line pans when baking brownies or cakes. If you've never tried it, see how it works for you!

I love that stuff, it has save me clean up time over and over.
I am a parchment paper fan. I would never make a cheesecake without it.
My dear grandmother showed me the wonders of this years ago & I do mean years. When she was first teaching me to cook, she told me to never be without it!.:)

I use this ALL the time !! It's such a time/pan saver !!! I love just throwing away all that icky gooey sticky slimy burned mess !!
I've always used parchment paper when baking rolls or biscuits but never thought about using it to cook fish or meat, as you have suggested. I must try it. Thanks for your tip, Mari.
Thanks Mari, I wondered about that stuff!
LOVE. IT! Thanks Mari!
Love it too! I always cut it to size with scissors since I can't get it to tear neatly with the package teeth. Look inside your Reynold's parchment paper box--mine always have a $1 off 2 coupon printed on the inside lid.
looks like it gets everyone's seal of approval :)
OK, I'm the only one who doesn't use it....but I will! don't know why I haven't before, I guess it seemed like a luxury, - how silly! I'm on my way out to buy some!
Oooh -- thanks for sharing! I need to pick up some of this!
I need to confess that I've never used this before. It sounds like it really would save time, though. I honestly didn't know that you could put "paper" in the oven. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try it soon.
I love parchment paper and use it all the time :)
And if you are spray painting kids crafts, they don't stick to the paper when they are dry!
Awesome tip---I love parchemnet paper too.

Mari~~~On my measuring cup it has on one side ounces and cups and the other side it has ML--Look on your measuring cup and see if it has the same___let me know if it doesn't and I will measure it out in terms we understand...LOL:)

Parchment paper is a lifesaver when it's time to do the dishes! You gave me some new ideas to use it. Thanks!
THX for that tip Mari! I've known about wax paper, not sure when I first heard of it, or used it, but the best place to buy it at the cheapest price is: "The Dollar Giant" or any "Dollar Store" I imagine.
