It's graduation time!

It's that time of the year; lots of graduations and along with them, comes the open houses. We've had a few to go to this year, and I thought I would show you some pictures from one.
This was the open house for Bob's nephew Max. This family is really into cars - especially restoring old cars. Max will be going to a unique college in the fall, where he will receive a degree in restoring antique cars. It's no surprise he enjoys this, because he grew up working on cars with his Dad and brother.
This open house was held in their back yard, and on display were some of the old memorabilia and cars they have worked on. There was old music to go with the old cars and picnic type food to eat!

This is one of two old gas pumps they have.

This is an old soda cooler - it still works!

This old truck is one that Max's brother Christopher drives. It's well known and recognized in town. It's had a few different types of pain jobs, and only comes out in the summer.

This is an old Skylark, that Max and his Dad worked on as part of his application to McPherson College. They really did a lot of work on it, and now it's his summer ride!

This is what Max drives in the winter - a neat old Mustang.

This is the next project. It's a 1958 Edsel. It holds special meaning to Bob's family because it's exactly like the one they had as kids. Here you see Bob's Mom, with his brother Rog and Tom, and sisters Karla and Diane.

Neat old tail lights.

This is one of the biggest projects. This is an Auston Healey kit car. Rog completely built this one. I just love it!

It was fun looking at everything, and it made a unique graduation party!
