Halloween Happenings

Do you get trick or treaters at your house?  We are usually lucky to get 2; little boys that live next to us.  Country roads aren't a place that many people come to on Halloween.  However, we did have 2 special trick or treaters come early in the day.

Cassie and Connor came in the morning so they could be in their own neighborhood in the evening.

Connor was a fireman in a fire truck and Cassie was Woody from Toy Story.

Bob has been working on the never ending leaves outside and the kids wanted to jump in one of the piles.  What fun!

Connor was all about pulling the wagon around.

There's nothing like kids and leaf piles!

After they left, I was working inside when I heard some thumping on the roof.

When I went outside to check, this is what I found.

Bob on the roof!  He was trimming branches that were too close to the roof.

This is his response when I told him to be careful up there!

He was successful with his tree trimming and got down safely. The rest of the day was quiet, and we did get only 2 other trick or treaters that evening.
