The days are getting shorter. I've noticed it in the evening, but even more in the morning. It used to be light when I got up, now the sun is just rising when I drive to work. It does make for a pretty drive!
Last week when I was going to work, it had been a cool evening, it was a little misty and the sun was just coming up. My favorite kind of morning!
Here's a few pics I took along the way.
Such a pretty drive! Makes a person want to keep driving and not go to work!

These are wonderful! I adore the low mist with the barn behind. And the last photo is stunning. You have a gorgeous trip to work!
You sure have a beautiful drive!
Work? That's a four letter word y'know!!
Absolutely serene was your morning drive
The late mornings and early evenings are leading up somewhere - fall! Have a good 'tues
Very pretty, Mari...I have noticed when I get out in the evenings, the sun is going down at 8 now, instead of after 9. sigh.
So nice that your commute to work is pretty and not have to fight traffic on a freeway.
I used to love my morning drive to work! Especially when the sun was just coming up, the sky was so pretty sometimes! I do miss that!
Sooooo beautiful.......

Oh, how pretty. Our days are getting shorter too. Hurray! I'm anxious for Fall with cooler temps and fewer bugs.
Blessings. xx
Oh, what would they do without you, if you just decided to call in sick because you needed a drive in the country. These photo look so calming . . . nice way to start your morning.
I love morning light. Beautiful pictures with mist.
That is a beautiful drive to work. Our mornings here have been so humid. I am ready for fall!
Your beautiful photos look more like watercolor paintings! I would have been very tempted to keep on driving!! xo
That IS a beautiful drive! I rarely ever get on the road that early, but last Wednesday we had to leave at 6:00 for my hand surgery, and I enjoyed getting outside in the early morning.
Truly beautiful, Mari. Isn't it kind of sad when, on June 22 each year, you know we are again moving inexorably towards that shortest day, a few days before Christmas? My joy on that day is our Melly, whose birthday it is. And then the next day ... on our way to that longest day! How fascinating. xoxo
What a beautiful morning drive. I know I wouldn't want to go to work either. It looks like it smells fresh as well.
You live in such a charming area!
Beautiful pictures, especially that last one, which is my favorite.
And yes, I too have been thinking about how much shorter the days have been getting.
