This is a picture that Alaina's teacher sent to our daughter Laura. The principal at her school gives out this "Outstanding" award when she sees a child being nice, working hard and learning well. It's not an award that is given out to everyone - so far there has only been 2 from Alaina's class this year, so it's a special one to get.
Of course, we've always thought she was pretty outstanding! We're pretty proud to see her recognized.
