Today's recipe is one I've been making for many years. We often have a hot sandwich of some type on Sunday evening. I usually make it on Saturday and put it in a crockpot on Sunday afternoon. That way supper is ready when you are! This one has only 3 ingredients, but it sure is good!
Hot Chicken Spread
4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
cream of celery soup
seasoned salt
Cook and shred chicken breasts, place in large bowl or crockpot.
Stir in 1 can cream of celery soup, may use another if spread appears too dry.
Add seasoned salt to taste.
Heat through and serve on buns.

Wow...couldn't be any easier and sounds very tasty, too!
I love the cream soups. I try to keep a few different kinds on hand because there is so much you can do with them! This sounds really tasty, thank you for sharing.
This looks delicious! I definitely plan on making this, thanks!
That recipe sure sounds good and I love anything with limited # of ingredients and in a crockpot! Thanks for sharing.
Yum,yum, yum. I made cold chicken salad sandwiches Sunday, I am the only who eats chicken salad. (wink) Blessings
This looks simple and tasty - two things I love in a recipe!
This really sounds good, and would be so easy to have when we have company over a weekend (or for a week!). Easy to get ready, and easy for folks to grab what they want, when they want it. Thanks!
sounds easy - i like it!
I will have to look and see if I have cream of celery soup. I do have left over chicken.
Thanks!
Once again, Mari, you have me drooling!!! Wow, this looks so delicious...and yet so simple to prepare. It's gonna be on my list of recipes in no time flat.
I am giving it a try. Sounds good.
This looks easy-peasy and yummy too!
That sounds scrumptious! And so easy!
So I cooked chicken breasts in the crockpot all day, and when I was ready to make some of this hot spread, I realized I was out of all cream soups. Ugh. So I made chicken salad with grapes in instead. There's plenty of shredded chicken left, so I'll do the hot spread another time.
