We live about 20 minutes from Holland and usually go to see the tulips, but we don't always go during the official week as we like to avoid the crowds. So, we went this past weekend to check out the flowers and they didn't disappoint.

Tulip Time
Every May, Holland, Michigan is host to Tulip Time. People come from all over to see the beautiful tulips, see the Dutch dancers and see Dutch heritage in West Michigan. There are Windmills, parades, wooden shoes, shopping and most of all - tulips!

I can only imagine how beautiful the seas of color looked in person, if you photos don't do them justice! Just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Wow...I bet that is an amazing sight! I love the fringed one!
Oh such beautiful Tulips. Your shots are lovely Our Tulip festival is all of April and the growers in Skagit Valley have all the fields full of rows of colorful tulips. They were early this year so by mid April they were gone already. Mother Nature is not to be messed with. LOL!!
I love to be there and see this.
My tulips are gone now.
Hugs
thank you for sharing those tulips with us!!
Positively enchanting.
We live near Holland too(Hamilton).
We do the same thing-we visit before and after the crowds. This year everything was perfectly timed. It was all just gorgeous.
Such beautiful flowers!
I've never seen a fringed tulip before, they are amazing. Wow. I bet the colours look incredible in real life. And the sun is shining too!
Beautiful...
I LOVE tulips!! I'm always so sad to see mine die. Your pictures are amazing. I love the one with different shades of purple.
Your pictures are so wonderful, but I imagine that you cannot capture the total ravishing color of these flowers. I bet you are saying, "You just have to be there to see it!" They are beauties, indeed!
OH HOW I'D LOVE TO GO THERE!
Haven't been there in years but Tulips are one of my favorites..love the beds of colors etc.. Great photos.. :-)
