Slow Cooking Thursday

I've shared this recipe before, but it's such a good one for party's that I thought I would share it again. It's one I got from my Mom so it's been around for a few years. It's easy and good!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs
2-3 lbs frozen meatballs
2 jars LaChoy sweet and sour sauce
2 jars chili sauce
4 ounces grape jelly
Mix jelly and both sauces together in a 4 quart crock pot. Stir in meat balls. (They can be put in frozen) Put in crock pot on low 5-6 hours.

Mari, Mom makes meatballs for every special occasion and yours sound delicious. Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate your comments on today's post. This morning at 6am, my blood sugar level was 4.5...just at the low end of the normal scale. As you know, we measure differently than the US. I thought I would hate being on insulin but sometimes that which we resist most is best for us. I just have to get used to it.

Have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Mary

I used to make meatballs every New Year's Eve...it was tradition. LOL...

But stopped. Now that I read your recipe, I think I'm gonna have it again this year. Thanks.

I just read Mary's comment above re: insulin and sugar levels. I was going to ask you if that [her reading] wasn't way too low...now I realize it's Canada's readings and not with USA.

Happy Thursday
