Great Expectations!

As most of your know, our daughter and son-in-law are expecting our first grandchild! It's a girl and she is due on October 11.
We went out the other night so I could take some maternity pictures. It was a nice evening, but we were tormented by some pretty big mosquitoes, which hampered sitting still!
Here's the results of the evening. I think Laura looks pretty cute! (and Aaron is his usual good looking self!)

This one is my favorite!

Mari, this just made me cry. Laura looks fantastic. I can't believe that your little girl is having her own little girl. What a wonderful time for all of you.

Great job on the photos, love that barn setting. Too bad Linds doesn't live up here, you could be her second shooter. You are mastering that camera of yours!

TOO TOO Precious for WORDS, Mari!!! You really captured their love and the excitement over the baby. Could it be YOU are a wee bit excited too? Oh girl, you just don't know the trainload of aching-heart love that's about to be dumped on top of your head. You will never be the same. Now, I love that last piccie too but my fave is the one with Laura's shadow. I love shadow pictures! Congratulations to all and may God in His mercy safely deliver this precious baby with the utmost ease and the least amount of fuss possible. I cannot WAIT to hear of this birth and see the photos of your grandbaby! YAYYYY!

Your photographs are amazing..I really think you are on a professional level. I love the last one too, but also the one where she is in the field looking down on her belly...and the one where he is kissing her forehead...and where they are walking down the path (to parenthood) together.... So happy for you and for them...

big hugs.
