Another visit to Meijer Gardens

I've shared several times about our visits to Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Our daughter and SIL gave us a membership there and we love to go and walk around different areas.
They decorate for the different seasons and we were anxious to see the Fall decorations.

This is entering the gardens.  They had mums all over, it's supposed to have one of the largest displays of mums in the state.  They also had these pyramids of pumpkins and gourds along the paths.

This is a sculpture I hadn't seen before, and I thought it was pretty sweet.

They have a large Japanese Garden that we decided to walk around on this visit.

After we walked the Japanese Garden, we walked to the farm area which was loaded with mums and pumpkins.

The paths through the woods had lights strung through them and barrels that had lights in them.  I'm sure it's really pretty at night.

They had pumpkins out in the woods along the paths too, and they are also lit at night.

Our last section to check was the wetlands walk.  Can you see the crane and heron out near the plants?

Another cute sculpture along the walk.

Here we are, walking back up to the building after spending about 3 hours walking through different areas of the gardens.

We're so thankful to have this place near us.  We've enjoyed it in all seasons!

I love this place! And I bet they have different decorations every year. You got some beautiful reflections. I think my favorites are the pumpkins in the woods and the water lily.

This looks a lot like the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, especially the Japanese garden. We don't go as often as I wish we could because it is an hour away. How nice to have this close by to walk through and enjoy all of the different seasons. Loved all of the pictures.

That was such a thoughtful gift from your daughter and son-in-law. I have enjoyed every one of your tours you have given us of this amazing place! Loved seeing all of the pumpkin and gourd pyramids and beautiful mums. The sculpture of the man and little girl is so precious. It makes me wonder about the conversation that they may have been having. All of your pictures are stunning, Mari.

Lovely photos! Such a pretty place. I love the Japanese garden. When I was a child, I read a book about a Japanese garden and ever since I've wanted one. Have a great week.

Hey Mari, how are things in your little corner of the world? Oh my goodness, that must have been such a fun day. I love fall decorations and markets and pumpkins. The pictures are so pretty. I need to look back at your older posts again to see if I have missed the grandchildren. :) Been so long, they are probably half grown. :)

What a delightful place to visit in all seasons.
Beauty every direction.
I love the Fall Mums and that sculpture of the man and the child is really sweet. I like the way the doll is dangling and the "Dad" is down on her level.
