The recipe I'm sharing today is one I got from my friend Deb at Days of my Life. She posted this taco recipe and said her husband wasn't usually a big fan of tacos, but he liked these. Bob is also not a big fan of tacos, so I thought I would try them and see what he thought. He really liked them too! They are easy to make and it's nice to have them ready to go when they come out of the oven. They make a perfect summer meal.
*I halved this recipe so am writing it out that way. It still made 12 tacos which was more than enough for us.
Oven Baked Tacos
1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
1/2 can refried beans
1/2 envelope taco seasoning
1/3 cup water
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/2 can Rotel tomatoes
grated cheddar cheese
12 crispy taco shells
Stir together the ground beef, refried beans, taco seasoning, water, tomato sauce, Rotel and cheese.
Spray taco shells with Pam to keep them crispy.
Fill the taco shells with the meat mix and set on cookie sheet.
I leaned them against each other and the edge of the pan to keep them a little bit upright.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
We added shredded lettuce, taco sauce and sour cream when done.

Hi Mari! I am so glad you enjoyed these Mari! You remind me that I need to make them again soon, because Charly and Josh (and I) really enjoyed these tacos!
Looks good - a little spicy though with Ro-tel.
Oooh, I can almost smell it through the screen!
I actually made Baked Tacos two weeks ago. They were a hit in our home. They are soooo good.
This does sound like something hubbies would love. Very, very cool.
It looks like you nailed the recipe, Mari!
We definitely need variety in our food!!

I'm going to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing it!
We all love tacos and this recipe looks like it would not only be easy to fix, but easy to serve as well. Into my recipe file is where this is going...Have a good day Mari.
My husband and youngest are taco "freaks"....they love their tacos, any filling, any way! *lol* So I'm definitely going to give this recipe a try, Mari. They're usually flour tortilla kind of folks but...they can eat the hard shell tacos once in awhile. At least in my book they can. *haha* Thank you for this recipe. Love, Andrea xoxo
Another keeper!! Thanks, Mari!! Joe loved tacos, but not constructing them. He would have appreciated this recipe, too!! Nice to make for a party, too!!
They look good.

My hubby is a flour soft taco kind of guy too, but I think I will give this one a try for a change. Looks easy and delish.

Hi Pam - yes the shells were crispy. We didn't eat them all and the leftovers weren't crispy so I reheated them in the air fryer
