News in the world of Ruby!

Last week I watched Alaina and Ruby for about 5 hours.  You may remember that Ruby has been going through a long period of being quite unhappy whenever her mom was out of sight.  We weren't sure how this was going to go, but I'm happy to tell you we made it through the afternoon without a cry!  I'm hoping she finally made it through this phase.  I know Laura and Aaron are really hoping she's done with it.  :)

 There's our happy girl!

And she crawling!  (and also pulling herself up on furniture)

This was taken when she was supposed to be napping.
I had a fun time with her and hopefully it will go just as well next time.

Ruby is cute as can be and looks so content/happy! So glad her visit went well. She and John learned to crawl in the same week! LOL

Just seeing that face makes me smile, and that hair....too cute! She should be doing commercials! I'm happy she's passed (hopefully) missing Mommy when she's out of sight.

Cutie pie!
Elsie is coming on Saturday. Can't wait to see how much she's grown since the last time I saw her.

I love Ruby's hair!! My son had that kind of "wheat field" on his head when he was her age. And now he has beautiful thick hair. So glad you were able to keep Ruby so Mom could have a break.

Hi Mari! I know exactly what you mean. My granddaughters are in phases of not wanting to be away from their mother. I'm going out to my daughter's soon to help out with her family when she has her baby. Oh boy, it could be ugly. She will have a C-section and be in the hospital for several days. I hope they will do as well as your little gem, Ruby!

Blessings,
Ceil
