Our backyard seems to be a popular place lately! Here's a few of the critters we've been seeing.
We've had lots more squirrels than usual.
Such a pretty pheasant.
This is a brave woodchuck. Usually they stay back by the trees, but this one was roaming around in the open.
We've also had a few chipmunks which irritates Bob, because they tunnel through the grass and flowers, but they sure are entertaining to watch.

....that pheasant....wow!!!!! I haven't seen one out in the wild like that in years. Well, I must say, your grass isn't so brown in this part of your yard.....cute critters, even the woodchuck.

We have a lot of Pheasants in our garden too but I can't help thinking they such dumb animals. :D Oh I shouldn't say that about one of God's creatures should I?
Marie, what a lovely bit of nature you've shared with us. Love the pheasant. I haven't seen one here for a few years, but we do have them. They keep themselves well hidden.

We don't see many squirrels, but I wonder if they would suddenly 'appear' if we put out bird feeders!;>)
