More Spring Flowers

I just love this time of year. Everytime I go into the yard, it seems something new is blooming!

This is purple phlox. In the Spring the entire plant is covered with these purple flowers.

This is a flowering almond. It has such pretty, pink flowers. This plant was grown from a plant that originally came from Bob's grandma!

The ferns in our woods are coming to life!

This is a dwarf lilac, that will soon be open along our front walk.

What a fantastic close-up of the phlox. I had a flowering almond at our last home. They are such sweet plants. I hope you will have a very nice week.

Such gorgeous flowers. Do they have magnolia trees in Michigan? That is now my favorite tree since moving here to Oregon.

Love your flowers but I have never seen a flowering almond. I will have to go to Earl May's and see if they grow in this area.
Have a nice day.

Oh, I LOVE lilacs! We had five bushes in our yard at the parsonage. They smell DIVINE :) Don't have 'em here, sad to say. But we have plenty of other pretty flowers.

I've never heard of a flowering almond. Does it have a fragrance like almond?
Your pictures are always so pretty, and I agree, Spring is full of beautiful new sights, every day!

I love the Emerson quote, I've never heard it before. I love spring too, the rebirth of all my favourite flowers.
