Flowers everywhere!

I love this time of year. There are new things blooming all the time. I thought I would show you a few of the flowers that are blooming in our back yard right now.
This is a flowering shrub, called Wine and Roses Weigela. You can see it's full size in the picture on the bottom of this post.
.
This is called a Gaillardia or blanket flower. It's a perennial that flowers for most of the summer.
.

These Siberian Iris are almost done blooming for the year. We have groupings of them in a few different spots and always enjoy them.
.

Here are a few peonies. This white one shows up nicely in our shady flower bed.
.

And - isn't this bright pink one pretty?
.

Here's one corner of the back yard. You can see the Iris, Weigela and white peony here. It's so peaceful to look out the window and see the flowers blooming.

If you want to see more flowers and gardens, stop over at The Preachers Wife. She is having a garden tour today.

Did you know that "The Preachers Wife" is having a garden tour tomorrow? You should link up this post to it.

Hope you are doing well...and thanks so much for your prayers Mari.

Gorgeous! I have to show those to Kane! He loves flowers and those are really beautiful. I wish my flowers looked like that but a plumbers sink always leaks! My yard is the last to be done.

Your flowers are so pretty and I love the little guy who is in your garden!
You have never introduced him to us before. He is a cute one! I have a little girl in my gardens.

Gorgeous flowers, Mari! You have quite the green thumb! I wish I had a view like that rather than my sand lot! :)

Since we've had all this rain, my irises are gone and the peonies are almost gone - especially the white ones. I have a light pink and dark pink too - the dark pink lasts the longest it seems.

Very pretty grouping!! I'm impressed! Maybe you should come over and help me!

I'm so hoping my peonies bloom this year, but I think I may just have to be patient. Yours are beautiful! I've been wanting to plant one of those wine & roses wiegelas, too!

Oh, how lovely! The peonies remind me so much of my childhood home...we had pink ones and white ones, and I just adored them. What a beautiful spot for you to relax and enjoy!

Mari,

Your flowers are beautiful. I love blanket flower. I had so many last year but haven't seen a sign of them yet this year. I thought they would reseed themselves. They always have before. Maybe our harsh winter killed the seeds. I will have to see if I can find some at one of the garden centers.

I have peonies, roses and clematis blooming. My mini carnations are just finishing. My beds are pretty bare this year as I've had no time to plant my annuals. I really must get it done.

Thanks for your prayers for Brandon. I appreciate it so much and so does he.

Blessings,
Mary

The shot of your corner is fabulous! Can you come to my house and recreate it?! I sooo want that "depth", all those different shades of green with a few other colors "tossed" in. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

And all your blooms are breathtaking.

Serious, come by anytime and take charge of my yard!

You have some different flowers than we do down here. I LOVE and adore peonies!!! The blanket flower reminds me of a sunflower, which I DO have, growing in my front beds.

Lovely yard!!!
