This is where I was on Saturday. Every year there is a womens expo in our city. The convention center is filled with booths that are of interest to women. I've never gone before, but I had the day off and my daughters Laura and Heather thought it would be a fun thing for the three of us to do. As you can see from the picture, it was really crowded. We did enjoy making our way through all the aisles, picking up a few freebies and making a few purchases. My best deal of the day was spending $20 on a set of egyptian cotton, 400 count, queen size sheets. We made a few other stops on the way home and even ran into Alicia, who is Ginger's daughter in Target. I recognized her from her Mom's blog and was happy to meet her in person. It was a good day - we had fun, got a few deals and enjoyed each other's company.

Ooooh, I'm jealous of those sheets! What a great find! Sounds like a fun and successful day!
I went to with my Daughter Faith & ran into Lauren, I almost bought some of those sheets but didn't want to carry them all afternoon & then never went back...It was very fun...
Sounds like a great time spent with your girls. You never know who you will run into there:) Glad you had a good time.
Short stop is jealous of your sheets, but I'm jealous of you getting to do something like that with your daughters. I can't imagine what that would be like to have them living so close by. Looks like a fun day.
Looks like fun!!!
Oh, that looks like so much fun!
What a great find! And what a deal! I need some of those....
I've never heard of anything like that. How fun to share it with your daughters and spend time with them.
Fun way to spend a Saturday! Getting freebies is always fun too!
I went to that years ago and really enjoyed it. I was actually thinking this year it would be fun to go again but didn't make work of it. How fun to go with your girls. Maybe I will talk Anna into going with me next year.
Smiles!
your day sounds like it was a lot of fun.
What a fun thing to do all together with Laura and Heather. Glad you had a good time.
I am impressed with the deal on the sheets. I wish I could have been there!
Oh that sounds fun. espesally since I have been wanting to get some new sheets!
I need new sheets for my bed - wish I could have gone!
Hi Mari, I am finally home! We did have a good trip but am soooo glad to be home!
It sounds like you and your daughters had great fun on Saturday. Finding a bargain like that is really an uplift after being inside all winter buried in snow.
In Puerto Rico at the closing Beach Party, we sat at a table with some people from Muskigan (or something like that). They own a construction business there and said they were NW of Grand Rapids. Their name was Johnson. They build churches and big buildings. I forget his partner's name.
The reason I asked their name was because I cannot pronounce your sisters' last names like I couldn't pronounce yours. I thought it was funny that their name was so generic like Johnson.
Mari,
It looks like a lot of fun and you got a real deal on those sheets. Besides that, Saturday was International Women's Day, so it fit right in.
Yes, we have a lot of snow and it's time for spring to come. We are to get up to another 10 inches Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm not sure where we're going to put it. Here's hoping the weatherman is wrong.
Blessings,
Mary

What a fun idea with your girls.
I heard you were out "stalking" my daughter. Seriously, she thought it was so sweet of you to introduce yourself. She was out and about enjoying MY car for the last time...woohoo! She had a fun time shopping.
We did have a lot of fun - we should do more things like that!
Sounds like a great time together.
:)
What a fun day. I just love girl stuff like that! How fun that you ran into Ginger's daughter. It is so fun when the blogging world and real world meet.
