A while ago, I told you Bob was working on a project at Heathers house. I'm happy to say that another portion of it is done. But before I show you that, I'll show you something fun I did with Cassie on one of the evenings Bob was there working.
She's decided she wants to do crafts too, just like her older cousins. So here's an easy one we did at her house. We made inside "snow" and a Spring snowman.
In the meantime, the other project was Heather and Andrews kitchen. You may remember that last year Bob built new upper cabinets for them. Over the winter he built the lower cabinets and now that the weather is nice, they were ready for tear out of the old cabinets and installation of the new ones.
New cabinets going in!
Here it is! Phase 2 is done. New cabinets, new countertops, a dishwasher! The drawer fronts by the sink need to be put on and there will be tile backsplash going in, but not till the next section is done. That involves taking out the wall on the left and a floor to ceiling pantry being put there. In the meantime, the kitchen is much more usable with every section that's done!

Dear Mari, I absolutely love the after photos. And even the window looks different. Well, as compared to the first picture.
And the snowman ⛄️ is adorable. Very creative. I love the items you used to make it. Lavender has such a lovely soothing 💜 fragrance.
Cassie looks like her mom! She has the darkest eyelashes - so pretty. And do I LOVE that kitchen remodel. Your husband is amazing. It is just beautiful.
She looks so much like you that I thought it WAS you! Bob is so talented! He even gave her more storage space than she had before. I hope you show it again with the backsplash and pantry.
It looks lovely! I'm so impressed he did this himself. We're in need of a kitchen overhaul too but neither me nor my husband are very handy unfortunately.
P.S. The snowman looks very sweet!
Looks great. I love the crafts you come up with.
Looks similar, lol. I love the photos, thanks for sharing. Wishing you a beautiful day.
That Bob...is there nothing he can't do? Absolutely beautiful work on the cabinetry. Happy for Heather that she now has a dishwasher...and how exciting that in time she will be getting a nice big pantry!
Cassie's little spring snowman is adorable. Glad to see she is wanting to do crafting as well.
The indoor snow looks like a lot of fun! Well done to Bob with the kitchen, it looks fantastic!
Your husband does beautiful work. Want to rent him out? My B is handy but in a "Home Improvement" kind of way. What he works on looks good but does not stand up to the test of time. You are lucky to have such a talented craftsman.
My goodness, my friend! Your husband is amazing! It looks beautiful! Your daughter is lovely, and she looks so happy. Love the snowman craft too. Have a wonderful day!
A great post....Cassie is just so cute and love her with her Grandpa. The kitchen is beautiful, what an accomplishment!!
The new cabinets look wonderful! I'm sure Heather will enjoy having that dishwasher too. Ha!
Well done, Bob!! It looks like it's from a magazine or one of those shows on HGTV! I know that dishwasher will be used!! It's just me here most of the time and I would be lost without my dishwasher!! Thanks for sharing the process!! Cassie and her snowman are both adorable. Connor will be in the workshop with Grandpa before we know it!! xo
Such a fun craft. The kitchen cabinets are gorgeous and how awesome to finally have a dishwasher.
Nice to have a carpenter in the family! Bob did an amazing job.
Nothing like having a handy (and super talented!!) dad! It looks phenomenal! I bet they're going to love cooking in there!!
I can relate to Big Boy in the dinosaur pajamas. No one lets me help either!
Wow, what a transformation !! So much hard work but it is beautiful. Can't wait to see the pantry. Every home needs one for sure. Your hubby is such a master craftsman and the family is fortunate to get to have his handiwork.

Oh how wonderful! That looks great, and I can see that Heather is very pleased! And I like the sounds of the next phase...the pantry! Pantries add so much storage space to the kitchen without having to add more expensive cabinetry. Such a great idea. I love the snowman you made with Cassie! What a creative idea!! I can tell that Cassie loved it! You are all so blessed to be near each other and to enjoy these fun times together. What a blessing!!
Love Cassie's expressions! :)
Cabinets look great. Wow the old ones were really low to the counter!! I'm sure Heather will love getting a pantry. I've never loaded a dishwasher, I've never had one!!
How fun Cassie wants to do crafts now! Phase 2 looks awesome. Bob is a keeper. Janice
The cabinets look wonderful! I know the dishwasher is a blessing to have :)
Oh Mari! I am always astonished by what your Bob can do. This is amazing. And just so special that he was able to do this for Heather. There is nothing more wonderful to a woman than her kitchen being the way she wants it. The dishwasher! She will be so happy with that as time goes on. Such a time saver! I can hardly wait to see the pantry! Chop Chop, Bob! Hahaha xoxo 🏴☠️
WOW! Those are really beautiful! Bob does great work!
wow, send him down here.. its beautiful and so much more counter space available..
I love that you took the all the way up. I am not a fan of cupboards however ... if I had to have them, all the way up is the way I'd go 100 percent, this rocks. Loooooooove it.
What fun on the snowman. Even if he fell a bit. Super duper cute stuff.
Great job Bob!! What a wonderful improvement for their sweet little family. And I love all the plans to come soon. What a great renovation!! 😍
I do like Cassies snowman and how sweet that Conner was showing such an interest in the work going on.
I must say it all looks lovely and Heather must be so pleased to have the dishwasher.
All the best Jan
