I see you, Sis

A few days ago I got this nice package in my mail. It came from Mari of Out of Deep Waters. (Don't you love the way she spells her name?) ;)
She sent this cute note card she made and some cards for me to write and send out. They say "I see you, Sis" and on the bottom it ways "Each one Inspires. Encourage one Individual".
The cards are made by Lekeshia, who says the concept came from this verse:
"For whoever does the will of my Father in Heaven, the same is my brother and sister, and Mother" Matthew 12:50.
When we see others doing God's will, we need to stop a moment and encourage them. There are many people who are doing God's work and may not feel like they are getting anywhere. A simple note could make a big difference.
I'm not good at sending cards or notes, but I know how much I appreciate them when I receive them. I'm going to try harder!
If you are interested in some cards to send out yourself, you can order them from Lekeshia. Her number is 404-642-2300.
Thanks, Mari!

Cooking Thursday

It's time for another recipe! Go to Sandra's blog to find more tasty things to try out!
I tried something new out last week. I can't remember where I found this recipe as I've been meaning to try it for a while, but it was so easy, and so good!

Crockpot BBQ Ribs

2-3 pounds ribs (can be bone in or boneless)
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
1/4 cup water

Boil ribs in large pot of water for 30 minutes to boil the fat out of them
Place ribs in crockpot, cover with BBQ sauce and water.
Cover and cook on low for about 7 hours or until tender.
Enjoy!
