Here's one view of the play area.
Ruby had fun driving the train.
Alaina was excited to get up into the playhouse, but wasn't sure about the slide on it and decided to come back down the ladder.
but, Ruby thought the slide was great!
There's a big gorilla the kids can sit on.
Ruby liked him too.
Alaina climbing up into another tree house.
After playing outside for a little while, we went inside to get pumpkins for the girls and some to put by our front door. The girls picked some out pretty quickly, but I was slow, so they wandered around with Grandpa and checked out some other things.
They liked this horse that they could all sit on.
Ruby and Grandpa exploring.
They found a huge bear to sit on.
And Alaina thought this dinosour was great. She even knew it was a Triceratops!
I finished shopping and here's what I found. The two little pumpkins in the front are the ones Alaina and Ruby picked out.
The girls were beyond excited when they saw there was a bounce house set up, so we took some time for them to play on it.
Smiles!
So much energy!
They had so much fun and I think they slept well that night!
When we left we were greeted with this beautiful sunset. It was a perfect night!

So much fun with two precious little girls. Glad they found the pumpkins they wanted, and you too! Now you will have to show us the arrangement outside the front door.
They are adorable. I can't believe how tall Alaina is getting. That looks like a fun place and I like your selection of pumpkins. What a gorgeous sunset also. Hope you will have a nice upcoming weekend.
We actually visited a pumpkin patch today for my son's field trip. It was so much fun but much different that that one! Funny how all of them are so different isn't it? Looks like a great day and great photos!
Great fall fun for the whole family! I love it!
What a great time you all had. Ruby is fearless, isn't she! That place is pretty amazing and they are smart to have the play area and all the 'animals' that the kids can sit on. The Methodist church a block from the Museum where I work always has a pumpkin patch (thousands of pumpkins) but it's been so hot that most of them are getting soft. I think I heard they will have another shipment coming in. It's fun to see the 'sea of orange' though, when I drive by.
The picture of Alaina with the triceratops- she sure looks like Aaron! I also love the pic of Ruby with Bob. I have a similar pic of Halle with dad. There is just something so special about those pics of them walking and holding hands with Grandpa. So sweet!
Such beautiful little grand girls. I loved seeing them have so much fun!
Y'all did a good pumpkin picking! :)
xoxo
Oh what a sweet post! What a fun place and a great backdrop for photos. These are to be treasured. I've yet to get pumpkins for the little ones. I think we're going sometime next weekend. The kids will be with me while mommy and daddy go to a wedding at Disney. I can't wait.
What a great place! Looks like you guys had so much fun!
What a fun time! I just bought 2 pumpkins for my front porch today....but mine are plain old orange!!
What a great place for children! Someone had a bigger vision for the community than selling pumpkins. No wonder Alaina and Ruby love that place.
So much fun with those sweet girls.
Hard to believe its a greenhouse and not a family fun center or something! They had a blast and were definitely exhausted. And they sure do love their pumpkins! (and their Grandpa and Grandma!)
Fun! Those girls get cuter and cuter :)
I can't help but think how these two girls are making fond memories with you two helping in all the fun!! What a family treasure.
My oh my how Alaina has grown. Both darling girls.
ps...Yay!!! I'm here, getting around to visiting my Blogger buddies! You're on my list of catching up with since my week's absence. I'm so happy I stopped by today.
You are such wonderful grandparents. The girls look overjoyed in every single photo, I'm sure they have a blast when they're with you!
This is so sweet Mari. When Alaina and Ruby look back on fondest memories of Grandma and Grandma one day - I'll bet these are the kinds of days they'll remember the best. ;)
Blessings to you Hon. xoxo
Perfect night indeed! Dagny would flip out in that play area. What fun for the girls. And that SKY! xoxo
