Chocolate Peanut Butter No-bake Cookies
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 1/2 cup oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix cocoa and sugar together. Stir in milk, and add butter. Heat in saucepan and bring to full boil. Add peanut butter and vanilla and stir in. Remove from heat, then add oatmeal.
Drop by tablespoon onto wax paper or cookie sheet. Let cool and enjoy!

These sound like they'd be a favorite for Bud. Everything he likes. And as for coconut, I'd too eliminate it....coconut in cookies just sounds like 'all kinds of wrong'. [I like Mounds tho!!]

What a sweetie pie! I haven't made those in years, they were my favorite as a child and all my kids loved them.
Ruby is adorable and it looks like she can't wait to try one of those cookies! I used to make these when I was a kid. My friend, Elaine, and I would make a batch and eat them all during a sleep-over. We never put coconut in them. Our recipe is just like yours. Yummy stuff and very easy to make!
One of our favorites as well but my recipe never had coconut! I make mine just like yours!
