I posted something on Facebook about it and someone asked to see wedding pictures. People seemed to enjoy seeing them, so I decided to share them with you also.
I was 20, Bob was 23 when we got married. We thought we were pretty mature and grown up! Things didn't always go as we would have liked our planned, but God has been with us every step of the way. Now Bob has less hair, I have more pounds, and we still love each other and are grateful for the years God has given us together.

You were/are a lovely couple! When Charly and I were married 36 years ago, I was 19, he was 23 and were thought we had everything all figured out! God must have been smiling at that because He sure knew better and knew we had to learn a thing or two or three and that's what we have been doing for all those years - learning and making mistakes and trying to get things right! I hope God is smiling now because maybe we have made just a wee bit of progress. Happy belated anniversary and many more happy years together!
Beautiful yesterday as well as today! What a testimony in this day and age when giving up is so much easier than learning what true love is really about and becoming true soul mates.

The garden gate Bob made is a work of art and the new walkway will set it off perfectly. He is so talented.

I love those pictures! And I think you were probably more mature than a lot of people that age now. :) I can't imagine having any different parents, you two are the best! And the girls are blessed to have you as grandparents. I'll have to show Alaina those pictures and see if she knows who they are. :)
