Last week we spent another day at Meijer Gardens. This time we took Cassie and enjoyed the Children's Garden. We did this last year and knew we needed to get there with her, again this summer.
Excited to start this adventure!
Last year she wanted to ride the tram and we didn't have time, so this year we started with that. She loved it!
We saw a little Chihuly art as we rode the tram.
We went to see the DaVinci horse and Cassie pretended to hold it up.
She talked Bob into giving her a ride.
Then it was time to go into the children's section. I love this little entry door for the kids.
They've combined sculpture with play here. If you look close, you can see Cassie up at the top looking at me.

We took a break and got some ice cream, and then headed to her favorite part of the Children's garden...
It's the water park! It's shaped like Michigan and the lakes are filled with water for the kids to play in.
Yes, she had a change of clothes along and we changed before we left.

We had a late lunch on the way home. It was such a fun day!

Dear Mari, you all look fantastic. What a fun 😁 place to explore, for children of all ages...yes, I mean some adults as well. The walkways, the sculptures, the water park all look enjoyable.

Oh my gosh, this place is fantastic!! I think my favorite is the large metal structure with the slide. But everything is a child's DREAM!!
What a wonderful place to take children! I know my grandgirls would have so much fun there too! The horse is huge! Love the waterpark for the kids - so much fun! Special memories you have made together!!!

Meijer Gardens looks like a fantastic place to visit. Oh wow! That horse, it is huge and the playground looks brilliant, how cool to combine sculptures into it.
How cool is that waterpark with our state and its lakes. Wish I was a kid again to enjoy that as much as Cassie did. I did not go to the kiiddy side of the gardens and never knew it was there. Did see the horse though. It was HUGE. Janice
That looks like a really fun place, it reminds me a bit of Missouri's Botanical Gardens. A great place to spend a summer day making memories.
This is what having grandkids is all about.....a wonderful time and precious memories.
I am so impressed with the garden. so many neat and unusual things to see. Cassie is a little doll and I could see in each of her photos that she was truly enjoying her day....

Oh that all looks like so much fun! Oh to be a little girl again and be able to get through that little door and up on all those fun sculptures and all the other fun things! Those gardens are just incredible! Such beautiful exhibits and I love what they have for kiddos. Cassie is such a Doll and is growing up so fast. Love the time you share with your grandkids 💗
