We had such nice weather last week, that we tried taking Alaina to the park to get some pictures of her.
There was a spot I wanted to use, that would show the stream in the background, but the sun wouldn't be shining on Alaina's face or at my camera. However, when we got there, we found that lots of people were taking advantage of the nice day and there were kids playing in the spot I wanted to use.

We tried this spot, but the sun was shining in her eyes.
We turned around so the camera was facing the sun, but then she didn't want to hold herself up.
Then she decided to chew on her arm...
And then, she just wouldn't keep her hand out of her mouth!
After all this she started to get fussy and sick of us repositioning her. I guess we'll have to wait on that modeling gig!

Those are terrific shots - so natural and sweet and capturing the moment! Beautiful!
She's a real cutie pie, no matter the pose!!!
Aww, Marie, she is beautiful! Looking forward to more pics of her. Enjoy her. She will be all grown up before you know it.
Blessings,
Mary
What a cutie!!
How funny! They just don't 'get' cooperation yet do they?! Adorable anyhow!
she looks like a model to me!!
They all look pretty perfect to me. What a dear little girl.
A princess :)
What a beautiful, darling little girl, Mari! I really like these photos. Often I prefer the spontaneous (uncooperative posing) pics of my grandkids to the posed ones. I think the ones with her chewing her arm and then her hand are adorable! :>)
Oh, I have a prayer request--please check out my blog.
I think all the pictures are cute !!
aww...shes a cutie. I think they turned out great!
I love that perfect baby skin. *sigh* So sweet.
I couldn't love this post more! There is nothing more beautiful then a precious baby being herself, and you captured it so well! She steals my heart!!
ALL of these are so "real" and sweet. (Personally, I like them better than the "professional-looking" ones.)

so cute!
So precious! And so true to life :) Those would make look lovely together in one of those collage photo frames!
What a precious little baby, makes me want to hold her as my littlest grand"baby" is now over 2 years old and neither of my children want to give me a new little one. Haha! That's okay though, I'm loving on my 5 grandchildren every chance I get and I have a feeling you're doing the same! Enjoy her!
Sweet precious pictures! And you're right...great spot for photos!
She is so beautiful Mari! Thanks for sharing these photos. Blessings
Adorable! I love that last picture of her, she looks so happy!
She is GORGEOUS! Look at her!
ALL these were perfect and precious. Of course, that's because of the suject!!!!!
What precious, sweet little cheeks!!!! Awww!!!
Well, those top models can be quite the divas, can't they?
This made me laugh out loud, Mari!! I think the pictures are wonderful! Every time Sam and Jenn post cute pics of Sammy they always assure me that they had to take at least ten in order to get one good one.
Oh the joys! That sounds like it was fun for about two minutes. LOL
That's a nice spot. Try going later or early.
Oh my goodness, those are some adorable pictures!!!
I love it when babies chew on their arms and hands.
These may not be exactly what you were hoping for, but I think they turned out great!
Wait? Wait for what? She's a natural!
