It's a ...

GIRL!!!!

While I was on my blogging break, during Andy's time home I got to be part of something pretty special. Laura and Aaron invited me and Aaron's Mom to come along to their ultrasound, to find out if they were having a boy or a girl.
It was so neat to see the little heart beating, the arms and legs and all the other amazing things you can see on an ultrasound.
This means we are looking forward to meeting our granddaughter around October 11!

Congratulations on your first grandchild. The first one in an amazing experience! (I've also been enthralled at the other five, not just quite the same.)
My first one was a girl also.
Such a precious time, Mari; I'm so happy for you.

Girl I must've missed the post where you announced Laura's pregnancy (if indeed there was such a post), and the other day when you posted a pic of all your young'uns I thought to myself, Laura looks pregnant but I didn't know she was pregnant ... so YAYYYYYY! A little girl! You are going to be over the moon come October, hunny. The fun's about to begin! Fire up that camera and keep the batteries fresh! LOL oh and ... Happy Monday!

Congratulatons !! You are headed to the best part of your life. There is nothing more wonderful than a grandchild, unless it is having a great-grandchild (which I do have).

You're going to be a grandma! It's the best, you'll love it. And, while I love my little boys, girls like to do the same things we do, and it's nice to have one first.

Hi sweet friend!

I'm trying to catch up with my blog friends tonight. It seems like forever since I've had time to just sit at the computer and visit, but tonight I am and it feels sooooo good!

Congratulations! So excited for you! (Our little guy is due on October 18th.)

What fantastic news Mari! Congratulations. How is your shoulder doing? Better I hope. I injured mine last year, bursitis and for a few months thought - will things ever improve? I'm now heaps better with that. Hope the same for you, improvement soon.
