Fools Spring

You've probably seen this meme before, but I had to share it, because it makes me laugh and it's true.  This is what's been happening in our area this past week.

We had such beautiful weather on Wednesday and Thursday, temps in the 50's and sunshine!

Bob and I took a walk on nice clear roads!

This is the drive to Bob's wood shop. Earlier in the week there was so much snow on it that it wasn't driveable.

Down the road from us, the horses were enjoying the sunshine.

This cute little donkey came up to greet us.

Look at that beautiful blue sky!

I even opened the slider and let some fresh air in.

On Friday it started snowing again and we were all sad, although we knew that nice weather wouldn't last.  But, we also know that Spring will be coming!

Dear Mari, your photos are gorgeous. I am so glad you both had a lovely walk.
I have not seen the meme in your first image. It made me laugh as well.

Hi Mari! So glad you had some nice weather before you get more snow! I love the photos. We need some more snow around here. Charly says he hopes all of our snow stays in the mountains. That would be nice. I hope you have good week! See you again soon!

The last photo is gorgeous, but my favorite is the sweet donkey, you got a great shot. I am still laughing about your seasons! I read it to Phil and we both got such a good laugh!!

Hi, Mari!
Around here we are finally having some sunny days, too! But I hope it doesn´t change, because we are tired of rain and cold...
Those horses and donkeys are beautiful!!!
Have a blessed week, friend!

That sweet donkey. He can come home with me, although I know they can be stubborn at times. Fool's Spring is so true. It is snowing right now again and we had 2 inches overnight on top of the inch on the ground. I am over Winter. Janice

Our snow didn't start until about 8:00 yesterday morning. It wasn't bad at all, and we were definitely able to go to church with lunch out afterwards. It looks like this morning though that we've had several inches throughout the night, and our warning is still on until midnight tonight. Some years March is our worst month for snow. But I took a walk around the other day and saw some signs of spring with things popping through the ground and Robins are everywhere! Spring is coming indeed!

We were in the 70's Thursday and Friday and then a cold snap came back. It was 16 when I came in to work this morning. We'll have a number of false springs before the real one gets here. Have a great Monday.

It was nice while it lasts. We got slammed last night - snow covered with ice underneath.

It's all beautiful...love the draft horse photo...so pretty! We kind of had a "fool's spring" here too, but of course we don't get the snow. We are back to freezing temps in the morning, but warming up a bit in the afternoon. Still praying for RAIN. Looking forward to seeing you both in March!

Oh my word - yes so true to where we live!! Lol Gorgeous photos dear Mari. The horses are so beautiful. 😍 We keep hanging in there for any more rounds to come as well. Spring will show up eventually and feel extra glorious when it does. ;)

The donkey sure brought a smile to my face. They are very interesting animals. We once had a pair of them and they loved flour tortillas ...We would feed them to the donkeys a couple times a week. You almost had some Spring...It will be there soon and I know you're looking forward to the beauty that it brings... Happy Monday Mari

Weather here is just like that too.
Beautiful photos.
I love those big work horses. If I had a horse I'd want that kind. :)

How wonderful to receive that house sign! So glad you are alright. Having your kids and grands around is great medicine if you ask me. We are on tap with more snow overnight and we had a couple inches yesterday...but nothing like the east coast. Fell bad for those folks. Janice

Beautiful photos of your "spring". Our spring is over and we are back to winter. Blah!

How cute! I love those furry faces. We had a small patch of grass peeking through the snow on Friday with warmer temps and rain, but that's just a memory now. C'mon spring!!
