This is celery, growing on a farm I worked on when I was in high school. I drive by it every time I go to work.

That is a big field. I like celery in my tuna salad and in soups. I find it hard to digest alone. That is a pretty green. What did you do there?
Susan - in this area farm jobs like this hire lots of high school kids. I planted celery, trimmed it when it was harvested and packed it to be sold.
This perspective is gorgeous! The rows are so straight! I don't think I have ever seen a field of celery before.

I did not realize there were celery farms here in Michigan. Nice to here we have this agri business thriving in our state. Mostly sugar beets, corn barley and wheat on this side. Love the pic with the contrasting blue and green color. Janice
