Last day!

Such an amazing trip, and this was the last day. We left Kanob and made the drive back to Las Vegas. We drove through Zion National Park again on the way back, for one last look.

At the entrance of the park, we saw this herd of buffalo!

This little guy was fun to watch running and playing.

This big guy was rolling in the dust.

Majestic animals!

After several hours we reached Las Vegas and decided we needed to take one drive down the strip.  Such a change from how we had spent the last week!

We saw several limos.

 Caeser's Palace.

This cute little metal road runner was on the side of the road.

This Rolls Royce was in front of us.

Planet Hollywood.

You know what?  I'm not a city girl!  I much preferred the National Parks.  I'm not a fan of this glitz and glam and crazy, busy traffic and people everywhere!  I liked the Palm trees best!

I enjoyed Las Vegas but we stayed with friends in Henderson. I enjoyed the malls that were attached to the casinos. I love the Balenciaga's decorations and the dancing waters were amazing. One visit on the strip was enough for me.lol

The pictures of the buffalo were great and I agree with you....all those city lights give me a headache.

Certainly is a contrast.. the slick Vegas strip and the majestic mountain and red rock beauty.

I'm so happy that you shared this fun and amazing trip with us!
Beautiful pictures and scenery.

Smiles :)

Well sorry but I don't think Sin City counts as a real "city," haaahaaha .... nope, just a big nope from me. But I LOVE the buffalo! They're wonderful. Great pictures. xoxo

I am with you Mari....give me the plains and rocks and the buffalo, and I am happy. If you have never eaten buffalo, you have missed out....it is great. Vegas is just too big and busy for this old country girl!

I'm with you, Mari! I don't like the big cities anymore. Give me a quieter life/vacation. I have sure enjoyed all your photos and your stories that went with them!

I agree! Definitely something you should drive through if you're there I guess, just to say you saw it, but I much prefer the quiet back roads to the busy city!

I like smaller towns too...but there is so much going on in a huge city. (I never liked Vegas tho...full of phony people!)

So many Canadians go to Vegas every year from around where I live because it's reasonably close and not so expensive to get there. I haven't been there yet but I want to go some day :-) I want to see some of the attractions at hotels and catch some shows.
