There were lots of trees throughout the building.
The main hall was transformed!
When they turned on the lights it looked even better. Someone even built an igloo that the kids could crawl through.
This was the nurses station. Thankfully it only was used for little boo-boo's!
Some of the rooms were decorated in a log cabin theme.
Some rooms had icebergs in them!
They put craft paper over this whole room to make it look like a log cabin.
This is the area where the bible stories were told and they led singing.
It was a huge job to get this all set up and to run the whole week, but everyone who took part in it said it was a wonderful week.

A lot of work, but everything looks very realistic. VBS was always a big part of our summers growing up.

WOW, now that took lots of work, and it looked great and I know the kids loved it too. VBS is such a good way to teach children about our Lord and have fun at the same time. Good job! I also like your new layout of your blog....
I would have LOVED VBS at your church Mari. Y'all did such a great job at making it a winter wonderland. When I was a child, I enjoyed the crafts and eating cookies and drinking Kool aid with my friends. We usually had a picnic on the last day but that was long ago in a galaxy far far away.
This is just awesome! The kids must have loved it. I remember Vacation Bible School when I was a kid. In fact, I was just talking about this to my husband the other day. I was thinking of some of the crafts we did. I kept them for years and years, all over my room when I was a kid. I guess I really liked VBS. :)

Oh Mari, this is awesomeness!!! I loved it all, but the area [hallway] that is covered in frozen icy walls and the igloo makes me cooled down just looking at it. It's 99 degrees here. Outside anyway.

AMAZING!!! How I remember the VBS themes we used to do at our church in Lancaster County. So much work, but so much fun!

I bet that all the kids had a "Cool" time! I saw a few pics of your VBS from Heather's blog. They looked like they were having a ton of fun.
Alan has been working for several weeks on VBS. He is going to be the teacher in our VBS. He cut out 140 wooden fish for one of his stories and he is working on animated video to help him tell the stories. He has been working on his material now for 2 weeks.
We can appreciate all the work that goes into making VBS a success. Thank you for sharing the awesome pictures of your hallways and rooms.
Wow!! These VBS programs are not like I remember! Both yours and Heather's church definitely go all out. Wow! Looks like a fun time!
What a HUGE amount of work everyone has put in. Should imagine the children absolutely loved it. Prayers that the message changes lives.
