Hooray!

Most of you know we love to have our granddaughters over.  You also know that the youngest, Ruby, had been going through a long streak of being scared, and was absolutely not happy about spending time here, much less the night!
She's been doing better, and this past weekend we decided to try again.  I'm happy to report that it was a success - not a single tear!

Happy girl!  (The fluffy hair continues)

Alaina and Bob have a tradition of having cheese and crackers together.  Ruby wanted to join them, which Alaina thought was hilarious!

Alaina loved having Ruby here with her.

After the girls went to sleep, Bob noticed this.  We thought it was cute how Alaina put her flip flops next to his boots on our shoe rack.

We had a great time, and I think Laura and Aaron enjoyed the quiet.  :)

How wonderful! They're both so stinkin' cute. I love Ruby's hair, and the look on Alaina's face when Ruby wanted to join in the food!

So precious!

Wow congratulations for having a tear free werkend with Ruby. She's getting used to it and probably will love being there just like her elder sister. And yes those mini flip flops are so pretty beside grandpa's big boots :)

What cutie pies and that hair just reminds me so much of my son's hair at that age. It stuck up like a wheat field. So glad that Ruby is happy to stay with you. I know it gives mom and dad a break. And yes, those flips next to Grandpa's big boots are precious!! Hope you have a good week at work and things are calming down.

That last picture is so precious!! Wow, you kept them both overnight! I haven't been brave enough to try Bianca yet. I'm not sure she sees me often enough to be ready for overnight without Mommy and Daddy.
