New Car!

We bought a new (to us) car last week!  This is quite a change for me, because for the last 14 years, I drove bigger vehicles.  We had a mini van and then got a Trail Blazer.  Now that it's usually just Bob and I in the car, we were ready to go back to a car, and are looking forward to using a little less gas.
This is a Dodge Avenger and it's a 2011. It drives very nicely, has a nice amount of leg room in the back and a good sized trunk.  Hopefully it will serve us well for quite a few years.

Yay for American cars; we like our Ford Focus. This sounds like an ideal vehicle for you.

It's sharp! Sporty looking too. Good choice.:)
I will be sticking to my gas gussler SUV as long as I drive those winding hills to school and back in snow, ice, and flood conditions.

you're going to love the way it drives, saves gas $$ and still have plenty of space to lug stuff around!

Congratulations on your newly acquired car, Mari. It's a great car for everyday use, like in going to your office or picking up your kids at school. But, when the time comes that your kids grow a little bigger, I suggest that you go back using a minivan, so that there would be enough room for them. But at the moment, you should cherish your brand new car.

Very cute! Looks like it would be fun to drive. We always buy used cars and I've yet to drive an SUV! Someday I'd like to try a smaller one.

Your new car certainly stands out! I used to drive minivans too, but now, I’m driving a sedan. It really takes time to get the hang of it, though. By the way, at first glance on the picture, I thought someone just got married. LOL!

Awesome ride! A Dodge no less! :D I think you made a wise investment here. Dodge vehicles are known to last long and perform excellently on the road. As tempting as it is, do not race your car’s engine during start-up, since this is a quick way to wear your engine. Drive safely! :)

Sweet! A silver Dodge! It fairly makes you look like you’re from a spy movie! :D It would be totally great to drive around in a shiny car, so even though waxing is a great deal of work, don’t put it off. Waxing your car protects the paint from the sun and from pollution that can fade and corrode the paint.
