Alaina at 9 months

My sweet grand baby is 9 months old already! It's hard to believe that much time has gone by.
She is such a blessing to us and we love spending time with her. We try to have her overnight a few times a month. This weekend was one of those time.
She has really changed in the last few weeks. She's showing so much personality lately and is so much fun to be around.

She's small enough that the sink works well for a bath.

She loves playing with all kinds of different things.

Grandpa loves playing with her!

All that play time tires a person out.

Sometimes it tires out both Alaina and Aunt Heather.

She's starting to walk around furniture. I think she'll soon be into even more trouble!

Poor Oliver gets no peace when Alaina is around. She just loves him, and he tolerates her - and runs and hides when he sees her coming.

Here's an example of that personality I was talking about. I was trying to feed her, and I kept getting faces made at me. She's hilarious and I sure do love her!

Some of my most favorite photos of my daughter's kids are when they are eating--they are so spontaneous then. LOL at Alaina's expressions!
It's fun to see Alaina growing up--I feel like I know the little darling. I love the sleeping photos--so sweet.

So glad she had so much fun! I think she might be just a wee bit spoiled at Grandpa and Grandma's house!

Once again, you made my morning blessed. Sharing Alaina with us just makes a day so pleasurable. I especially liked the last two photos AND the one of Grandpa and her smiling....that one is most definitely frame-able!!!!

I love watching your grandmothering from afar. There is nothing quite like that bond, is there? My Kenzie and I still have a special attachment because of all the time we spent together when she was little.

And hopefully it will survive her impending teenager-hood!

May she be blessed to keep that winning personality her entire life. She's off to a good start with a loving aunt and grandparents to supply good hugs and attention. :)

Girl I don't know how you get anything done when she's around. Seems like all you'd be able to do is smooch those chunks of babysugar she has for cheeks! She is all kinds of adorable. I bet she babbling all the time! I love it when they babble. Andrew was doing that the other day and I should have gotten video.
