Let it snow?

We've been pretty spoiled this year as far as winter weather is concerned. The weather people were predicting a terrible winter for us, with above average amounts of snow.
So far we haven't had that, there's been more days without snow than with.
However - it seems that when it does snow, it does it with a vengeance!
This morning when we went to church it was snowing, but the roads were mostly clear.
When we left it looked like this:

It made for a nasty drive home!

We were glad to be back home again - this is our road.
Here's hoping that tomorrow is clear again!

Beautiful snow...I know it can be a mess but when it starts it truly is beautiful...

We have not had any this year and we were all told it was going to be a really bad winter....I am concerned it may come in March and April when we are all ready for Spring....

Have a good week and be safe on the roads....

Very pretty photos, but of course, I know dangerous driving conditions. Stay safe and warm. Keep us posted.

Love when it snows - BUT - sure hate those ugly driving conditions it can cause and the bitter cold that usually follows!

We just had a quick one go through this evening. We were completely unaware of it until we heard a snowplow go by!!

It makes for beautiful pics though!
We're going to be in the 60's this week!!! Loving that!

Yikes! Brrrrr! Snow really does make gorgeous photos, but I know it must be hard driving in it, shoveling it, and worrying about power outages, etc. Take care sweet friend.

Hugs,
Kat

That second photo reveals the wonder, beauty, and danger of snow--beautiful photo, Mari.
We have had only one such experience this year and it was (of course) the time we ventured over to my son's house mid-week to take dinner and spend some time with them.
I am missing the snow and the snow days---only one so far.
I pray you have safe driving this week.:>)

It is pretty! The predictions for us were the same as you! I keep thinking we'll get blasted early spring. Oh dear. :)

We get very little snow here, but when we do I'm all prepared with my Wrangler Jeep!!

I just heard the weather forecast and it's look like the UK may get some snow this week, I'll have my camera ready!

Hmmmmmm, I must say, I remember you posting a beautiful image of your drive home at a better time of year...this one is totally a different scenario for sure!!

Glad to hear you had a safe trip back home, tho...I know just how treacherous icy snow roads can be.

They predict a warm up - again for us in a few days. I keep wondering if the other shoe is going to drop and we're going to get blasted! LOL! I'm not going to look for trouble, instead I'm going to be thankful for the weather so far!

Glad to hear that you made it home safely. Those are beautiful photos however.
We are to be in the 60s today and 50 till Friday then we could get some of that white stuff. BLAH
Since we are having spring like temps I am a little nervous about what Feb and March might bring.
Hugs

Any snow is too much snow for me, but it sure does make for a pretty picture!

Goodness, that's alot of snow! We have been forcast snow as well. Last year I though the snow was never going to go it lasted that long. I developed abit of a dislike for it, so I'm hoping we don't get any this time round!! Looks lovely though doesn't it.

Can't say I miss that stuff much.~~~

Please be careful on those nasty roads! But it's so wonderful to be safe and warm at home when it's inclement outdoors. I would enjoy one good snow a year but it's not likely for us this year.
