Bob's been carving again!

Bob loves to carve but doesn't do too much of it in the summer, as he spends a lot of his free time working outside on the flowers.
The last few weeks he's been picking up his tools again, and I thought I would share what he's working on.

This is one of the Serta Sheep. He needs his eyes finished and then a paint job. Do you see the golf tee legs?

I think this is a pretty cute pirate! Bob has started painting him, but it takes a while to get all the shadows and different layers of color done.

Here's a little detail of the back of the scarf.

This one is done. The name on the stand is "Shocking". It's an electrician who has just received a shock from that frayed wire he's holding.

I love the tool holder, filled with his tools!
Bob is also finishing a big project, something for me that I can't wait to show you!

Those golf tee legs are perfect! Bob's creative work is high quality! Used to be a buyer for our Tuck Shop and we paid well for these collectible figurines!

Your hubby is so talented. The sheep looks like it's straight out of Wallace and Grommit. Tell him I think he's The Man!

Oh my goodness Mari!!!!!! You know how I love this stuff as Bud has done a lot of wood carving in the past also. And the pirate...well, ummmm *hint* this would look just too super in my dining room with all the nautical. That means you must have another giveaway. [kidding!!!] And the "Shocking"?!! Too darned good. You tell Bob for me that his work is just outstanding. Oh, and love the Serta Sheep too with the golf tees as its feet/legs. Super, just super. I can't say enough good stuff here. Whatever he has from his tools that he's making for you, I just can't wait.

He does good work - you ought to keep him around a couple more years.

Such nice, detailed work. I'm sure creating them gives him much joy, as well as those who receive them.

He is so talented. I have a Christmas one I bought at the craft show. I can't wait to put him out again at Christmas.
This is a good outlet for him if he gets stressed or whatever.
We all should have some kind of an outlet in times of stress. Good job.

Bob is great!
Is he doing Christmas ornaments this year?!
The ONLY fair thing to do is post them here for US to buy before he goes to the craft fairs. :)
