Favorite Ingredients Friday

It's time to share another recipe. This is something I made this past Sunday when our home group (Bible study) came to our house. I was asked to post this so here it is. (Just for you, Jean!) It is easy to make and oh, so good.

Grape Salad

4 pounds red or green seedless grapes, rinsed and drained with stems removed
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
8 ounces sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, finely crushed
1/2 cup brown sugar

Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Add sour cream, then vanilla. Stir in grapes and chill. Mix together nuts and brown sugar. Sprinkle on top of salad just before serving.

I don't think I've ever had this - another recipe you've hidden from me! It looks really good though!

My daughter loves grapes. I'm betting she'd love this, too. Thanks!

I'm not sure if I ever had that before but it looks good. Maybe I could make that for holidays instead of snow salad.

What a yummy recipe! Similar to a fruit salad that I make. Never thought of just using grapes!

My Mom gave me this recipe. She adds a King size crushed Butterfinger on top of hers with the brown sugar and nuts. Even more healthy:)
